Customer Support Manager

The Customer Support Manager will own the relationship between our customers and MailMonitor. As consumer advocates, they are responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, fixing basic account needs, and leaving our users with a warm feeling about MailMonitor and their inbox deliverability performance.

 

As ISPs and email marketing processes and regulations continually change,  we are continually investing in new features and improvements to our services and tools.  While our focus is our supporting the needs of our customers, we know our people are our greatest asset!  We strive to build a culture where everyone is continually learning and growing.

Your day to day will include:

Database Engineer

MailMonitor is looking for a qualified Database Engineer to design stable and reliable databases, according to our company’s needs. You will be responsible for developing, testing, improving and maintaining new and existing databases to help users retrieve data effectively.

As part of our MailMonitor IT team, you will work closely with developers to ensure system consistency. You will also collaborate with product owners and customer support managers to provide technical support and identify new requirements. Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a problem-solution attitude.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our database systems run effectively and securely on a daily basis.

Your day to day will include:

  • Designing stable, reliable and effective databases.
  • Optimizing and maintaining legacy systems while providing feedback on how to improve these legacy systems.
  • Modifying databases according to requests and product requirements and perform sandbox testing before pushing to production.
  • Solving database usage issues and malfunctions whenever they arise.
  • Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.
  • Ensuring all database programs meet company, industry, and performance requirements.
  • Researching and suggest new database products, services, and protocols.

Development Engineer

Our development engineers are back-end systems experts who build the infrastructure to power the MailMonitor email marketing app.  We believe in using the right tool for the job, whether that is AWS, open source projects, or writing our own solutions – we always look at the complete picture, including monitoring and maintenance, and not just initial development.

  • Understanding product and feature requirements, then figuring out and designing the infrastructure that will power them.

  • Investigating and fixing performance issues.
  • Supporting the needs of the customer support team when they report customer application issues.
  • Running functionality testings and debugging code.
  • Liaising with designers to decide on UI/UX elements (like graphics and navigation buttons).
  • Ensuring our software documentation is up-to-date.

Front-end Developer

MailMonitor is looking for a qualified Front-end Developer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

  • Collaborating with back-end developers, web designers, and product owners to improve usability.
  • Gathering feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers.
  • Assisting back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Ensuring high-quality graphics standards and brand consistency throughout all development work.

  • You have proven work experience as a front-end developer for both web and mobile development and an understanding of layout aesthetics.

Product Owner

We are looking for a Product Owner to organize, prioritize and assess work for our design and development teams.  To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases, similar to the way a project manager would.

As a MailMonitor Product Owner, your responsibilities will include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. You will also be conducting user testing and competitor analysis on an ongoing basis.  Understanding how our users engage with our products, anticipating what their needs are, and knowing what the industry is up to are key aspects of this position.

Ultimately, you’ll help us roll-out products that deliver our company’s vision.

  • Incorporating feature requests into the product roadmap, grooming and prioritizing the backlog, and managing releases.

MailMonitor is looking for a highly motivated Sales Support Manager to assist our sales team throughout the sales process life-cycle.  As a sales support manager, you will become a product and industry expert in order to engage prospects and drive leads for our Sales Executives.  You will also form relationships with our prospective customers and assist in the new customer transition process to the Program Management team.

  • Execute outbound marketing and sales strategies to identify and target customers.
  • Manage prospects from lead generation to qualified lead, supporting the Sales Executives throughout the process.
  • Use a combination of phone calls, emails, Linkedin, and any other means to generate new qualified opportunities.
  • Manage CRM system and necessary messaging throughout customer sales life-cycle.
  • Assist with sales-driven and sponsored events such as webinars, company sponsored conferences, and industry conferences.
  • Proactively search for new, innovative ways to generate leads.

SEO and Content Manager

MailMonitor is looking for an SEO & Content Manager to manage all our SEO efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword expansion research.  You will also be handling much of our content development for marketing and sales materials.  If you have the background, we would love for you to oversee all of our paid search campaigns to ensure their success.

We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role. Your goal will be to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase our company’s profitability — basically, get MailMonitor seen and found online by prospective customers and outrank our competitors in all of the major keyword categories.

Your day to day will include:

  • Developing and executing successful SEO strategies both onsite and offsite.
  • Conducting keyword research and competitive keyword analysis to guide our content strategies.
  • Reviewing and managing technical SEO issues and then implementing the necessary fixes.
  • Optimizing the MailMonitor Sales website content, various marketing and sales landing pages, and all paid search copy.
  • Coordinating and managing all of our off-page optimization efforts (e.g. link-building).
  • Collecting data and reporting on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Managing our social media efforts and coordinating content marketing strategies.
  • Keeping abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends.

  • You have proven experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager, Content Marketer, or similar role.
  • You have knowledge of standard and current SEO practices and a firm grasp of the English language.

UX Designer

Own the overall design of the MailMonitor brand!  As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for the look and feel of the MailMonitor brand and overall usability across our apps, tools, internal, program management, customer support, marketing, and sales collateral.

In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp the needs of our customers and internal support teams and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential.  Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.

Your day to day will include:

  • Understanding product specifications and user psychology.
  • Conducting concept and usability testing along with the Product Team and turn user feedback into design gold.
  • Creating personas through user research and data which will be used in designing all things MailMonitor.
  • Defining the right interaction models and evaluating their success and short-comings.
  • Developing design concepts and prototypes for new features and services.
  • Finding creative ways to solve UX problems within our products and customer support services and materials.
  • Working with cross-functional remote teams to ensure design implementations and customer engagements are being developed and implemented as expected.
  • Keeping abreast of competitor products and industry trends, as well as trends in UX design.
